Neurum Creek Bush Retreat Terms and Conditions

It is our pleasure to have you as guests on our property. To enhance your safety and ensure you have a pleasurable experience, we require that all guests abide by the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in you being requested to leave the property, if intoxicated you will be expected to call a taxi at your expense or arrange a sober driver.

We require that all guests register with us on arrival. We are required by law to know who is on the property at all times.

Check in time. Your site will be available from 1pm. Please do not arrive before 1pm (unless otherwise arranged.)

Check out time. Your site must be vacated by 11am the day of departure (unless otherwise arranged.)

Day visitors. You must register at the office upon arrival. Per adult $5 fee is charged. Children and dogs are not charged a day fee. Visitors must vacate by dark or pay full camping fees.

Alcohol consumption. It is a privilege Not a right to consume alcohol whilst camping at Neurum Creek. Zero tolerance is the policy for drunk, disorderly, abusive or aggressive behaviour. No consumption by minors is allowed. No sale in any form allowed without consent of owners and appropriate licences taken out.

Activities. While engaged in any activity on the property you must practice common safety procedures and give consideration to others.

Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible person in particular when using the amenities.
Children under 6 years of age or disabled patrons must be accompanied by an adult at the amenities block at all times. -
Speed Limit within the property is walking pace. (Under 10km per hour). Normal road rules apply on all roads on the property.

No unregistered motorbikes or mini bikes allowed.

Bicycles, Scooters, E-Bikes, you must complete a bike licence form at the office before riding on the property. Bicycle riders must abide by all the park rules. You must ride sensibly.

Firewood and Kindling are available on site to purchase. You may bring your own split wood but in no circumstances is bush wood or natural fallen timber allowed. You must not enter neighbouring private property to collect wood. Fires are permitted but must be restricted to the fire rings located at the various campsites. Fire rings are not to be relocated. Do not leave campfires unattended. No open fires allowed during a fire ban.

Noise. Most people come here to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty, let them do this by
1. No noise after 9.00pm. No unreasonable noise at any time.
2. No loud radio or amplified noise at any time including car radios.
3. Camp parties are to keep voices low as noise (particularly loud laughter) carries at night. -
Amenities. The amenities (near Area B) are closed for cleaning 10.30-11.30am. The amenities (near end Area G) are closed for cleaning 11.30-12.30pm. Please make note of these times and use another facility nearby.

Toilets are self composting, do not put any foreign material or liquid down them. Use the bins provided for personal hygiene items and dirty nappies. Put the lid down when you are finished. No cigarette butts. No chemical toilets to be emptied into composting toilets, No buckets or volume of liquids. A public dump point is located at Woodford and Kilcoy Showgrounds.

Water is pumped from the creek and reticulated to the showers and campsites. Rainwater is available at the amenity blocks and adjacent to the entry and in camp are "G". Signs at taps indicate rain or creek water. All water should be boiled prior to drinking it.

Walking Tracks. There are some self guided bushwalking tracks in a number of different areas across the property. They are minimally marked and therefore care is needed. Walk tracks vary from easy to very difficult. You must exercise due care the degree of difficulty chosen. Track conditions may be rough, you should allow sufficient time for your return prior to sunset and you should take drinking water with you. Do not climb the mountain gorges unless experienced bushwalkers and discussed with office staff. You are responsible for your own actions; appropriate footwear is advised. Neurum Creek Bush Retreat is a natural enviornment including native animals, which may require caution example; wild deer, snakes, reptiles, ticks etc. Flora and fauna are to be left as found. Walking Track Maps are available fromt he Office.

Water activities can be dangerous. The creek changes with the season. Do not assume it is safe to swim, jump or dive in.

Rope swings are not allowed.

Strictly do not allow children to play on the causeway. Parents and guardians are to be responsible for supervision of minors.

Fishing and Yabby Pots are not allowed. Snagged hooks and lures can cause injury to swimmers.

Emergency Assembly Area. In an emergency all guests on the property are to assemble at in the wood shed adjacent to the office/shop located near the park entry. Emergency contact numbers are posted outside the office. The after-hours emergency mobile is 0407647444 or UHF channel 16.

Falling Tree Limbs. Be aware that tree limbs can fall, management of NCBR take no responsibility for damage or injury caused by falling tree limbs, camping is at your risk.

Firearms are not allowed.

Generators may be permitted in areas specified by management for 1.5hrs morning and afternoon for recharging batteries.

Chainsaws of any kind are not allowed.

Camp areas to be left clean and tidy. Use the rubbish skip bins provided. Always bag and tie rubbish to minimise fly infestation. Locations are shown on map. If skip bin is full do not place rubbish on ground, overflow rubbish must be taken to the large skip bins at the main entry. Rubbish bags are FREE and may be obtained from the office.

Website and Social Media - Photographs We take photographs of events and activities to use, which may include persons from your group.
Dog Owner/s Terms and Conditions

Dogs must be kept tethered or leashed at all times whilst in or around the campsites.

The dog owner shall be responsible for any damage caused by the dog/s to any persons or other animals on the property.

The dog/s must not be allowed to enter other campsites or neighbouring properties at any time.

Dog owners will remove, pick up and dispose of any dog droppings in a plastic bag and place in rubbish bins.

No dogs are permitted to enter the amenities blocks, office/shop and must be kept clear of all entry ways at all times.
Please use dog hitches. -
All dogs are to remain tethered after dark within the owner's campsite.

No dog is to be left unattended. (You go out. The dog goes with you).

Owners must minimise disturbance to others by controlling barking at all times.

Any dog that has an agressive nature or shows aggressive behaviour be asked to leave. Such animals will not be welcome to return.

Young children (under 10 yrs) must not be given sole care of a dog at any time.
